The story behind Infrasuisse

Infrasuisse’s core expertise is in the field of corporate and asset finance. The brand with its founders stand for Swiss characteristics such as reliability, modesty, interest to innovate, liberal thinking, timeliness, precision and social integration. The brand Infrasuisse dates back to 2005 where the topic of Public Private Partnerships and the idea of building public infrastructure with private funds was hotly debated in Switzerland. The result of this initiative was also the creation of the Infrasuisse Foundation which was set up by one of the Infrasuisse Founders together with members from CB Richard Ellis and the former head of ETH’s construction department. Todays owners of the Infrasuisse brand were at the core of developing the brand image at the time and gained full ownership of the Infrasuisse trademark rights in 2010.

Infrasuisse’s office is based in Baar, where the family carpentry business of the founder was located for over 3 generations. At the time a village dominated by agriculture and local craftsmen, the Canton of Zug has now developed into a rapidly growing municipality with highly efficient public services (from public transport to government authorities). We have offices in an old wooden beam house that is only a stones’ throw away from the modern office complex of one of the largest commodity traders in the world. We strive to unite those two extremes and our background allows to navigate in both of these worlds seamlessly.
